This award from one of the co-founders of the club, recognises a club member who has strived above and beyond the normal call of duty for the club in a voluntary capacity during the year for the overall benefit of the club and its members. The Club Person of The Year is someone who has made a REAL difference to the Club in that time.
This award was donated in 2014 by the Hon. John Dawkins MLC, Patron of Gawler Rangers Baseball Club. It follows the same criteria as the Club Person of the Year award, but from a junior perspective.
This trophy was donated by a former member of Baseball SA who was associated with our club in the early years and recognises the best ‘rookie’ baseball player in their first season playing for the Gawler Rangers Baseball Club.
This award is donated each year by Barry O’Brien, one of the co-founders of our club. The recipient of this award is mainly from our younger junior ranks, who have shown talent & promise in becoming a good baseball player in the future.
Donated as part of the Gawler Blue Light sponsorship in 2012, the recipient of this award is a junior player within the Gawler Rangers Baseball Club who is under 18 years of age at the end of the playing season.
Donated by a previous sponsor, and still strong supporter of our club, this award recognises the player who has had the most improvement from the beginning of the season to the end of the season in a senior division.
Donated by the Skewes family in 2012, this award is for the most memorable moment during the season by a player. This could be during a game or at training. It could be the funniest or silliest thing, or the most outstanding play remembered and discussed by others. It is a significant moment or action. It is designed for senior players.
